Its vineyards are discreetly hidden behind thickets, taking advantage of every ray of the sun of the Toulouse region... Saint Guilhem, established as a wine producing estate in 1738, owes it name to the Count of Toulouse, Guillaume de Gellone, who was canonised in 1066 under the name of Saint Guilhem. The fine wines and spirits of the Domaine of Saint Guilhem won recognition in past centuries. After a gap in vine-growing during the 1980s, the estate now includes 7 hectares of vineyards, and meadows and woodlands with rare and centenarian species of trees. |
